The house we are currently working on is at the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills.

Our houses in Natrona are almost complete!

58 Pond St. was completed with the Dedication held July 12, 2008.

Our first townhome/duplex unit is almost complete as well.

One half of this unit was a Thrivent Builds sponsored house (60 Elm St., the new name of this address) and we’re on our way with the other half, 62 Elm St. which is also almost complete but we need a homeowner partner family!

While working on the townhome in Natrona, last August we started a renovation in Arnold at 2012 Victoria Ave. That house (partially sponsored by State Farm Insurance and their wonderful volunteers!) is now completed also with our working Mom and her 7 year old daughter moved in and very happy with their newly renovated home. This year we decided to “Break Tradition” by building at the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills for our Thrivent Builds home. This was done to gain awareness of the need for housing, our need for homeowner families, our need for new volunteers and our wish to thank Thrivent Financial and many other donating partners!

We just completed building all the walls for the house which will be moved to 126 West Tenth Ave. where the trees are down and digging will begin for the foundation either this week – 9-14-09 or next. There will be no more work days at the mall.
Volunteers are not needed on site at this time but will be very shortly so check back or call Dave Pakulski at the number listed below.

Normal work days are Thurs. and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. but because of this new construction, it is always best to call Dave if you plan to come out during the week as there are times we cannot work. You can reach Dave at 412-915-2283.

We work with many area companies in addition to the Allegheny and Westmoreland United Ways and more often Pittsburgh Cares.

Groups need to sign up online, sign the waiver online and come on the day they designate.
