Come volunteer on our work sites, at our fund raising events, or in our office or Restore which will be opening Spring 2008!

Meet Our Volunteer Coordinator Maryann Engleson

Maryann began volunteering on site just like a lot of people do but was very interested in our organization. This quickly led to more involvement as she joined our Board of Directors and then agreed to become a truly volunteer “Volunteer Coordinator”!

Maryann is on site most Saturday work days and is   in charge of our new online volunteer program-- “VolunteerUp”.

Maryann is on the right and Diane is on the left - We were lucky enough to travel to New Orleans for a Habitat National Conference.


One of the highlights was working in the 9th Ward in Musicians Village on Habitat houses there - we painted outside trim - 350 Executive Directors (and Maryann)!

 
We also had one day off before we left and went into the French Quarter and found Bubba Gump's Shrimp Company and could not resist asking someone to take a picture!

Forrest wasn’t there, by the way!

Come have some fun with us on our work sites - good snacks, lunch, and friendly welcoming people! That’s what we’re all about! Building Community while building houses!
